This tool can help fix a Windows Update problem which messes up the access to the internet - your computer will say it is connected but all browsers will state the internet is not available.
CCleaner - removes temp history, and cleans the registry, can help detect addons in browsers and other tasks
Trusteer Rapport - great security app for banking - but can have some issues in Google Chrome - call me to resolve

Libre Open Office - Free and Open source

Google Chrome - this has the best search engine, and of the top 4 browsers is the most secure for general use.
Maxathon - Most secure browser for banking also the most compatible as some banking sites do not work with some browsers
